New Construction Project at Wollankstraße 129
Living Between Bürgerpark and Florakiez
Located between Bürgerpark Pankow and Florastraße, in the heart of a historic Gründerzeit neighborhood, is the approximately 1,286 m² project site at Wollankstraße 129. The plan calls for a residential complex with 54 compact 1- to 3-room apartments, as well as two smaller commercial units on the ground floor of the front building.
The design reflects the neighborhood’s characteristic building structure: A front building fills the existing gap along Wollankstraße, complemented by a short side wing, a rear residential building, and a coach house. The site is situated between the Gründerzeit buildings at Wollankstraße 128 and the historically protected ensemble of the “Alte Bäckerei” at Wollankstraße 130.
Both the front and rear buildings are planned to have five full stories and an attic. Balconies, loggias, and terraces provide private outdoor spaces for the apartments. A communal courtyard area will be created between the buildings. The concept is complemented by extensive green roofs, a maximum proportion of unpaved courtyard areas, and solar panels on the roof surfaces.
