In Stahnsdorf, in the green belt around Berlin, two residential buildings have been completed: an apartment building and a terrace of five houses. The project first required a deviation from the local development plan, adopted only shortly before – the building committee and the municipal council were won over by the design.
Most of the apartments are maisonettes spanning the ground and first floors. With their own entrance and their own garden, they work like small houses within the house. Above them are generous rooftop apartments; below, an underground car park with stacked parking.
